my interpretation:
design a backpack that is elegant yet edgy to wear with streetwear

although this class is advanced sewing design, students typically base their work off of existing sewing patterns.
my pattern was made from scratch.

the pleating and simplified form language really helped the traditional design motifs to evolve to today's fashion. it gives a futuristic nomadic impression.
hanbok + streetwear
adding traditional korean flare to make the hanbi backpack

Color: most of the colors consist of grayscales with earth green and sky blues.
surface: silky finishes layered with matte materials.
form language: free; draping, pleating. giving breezy yet structured qualities.
